Shoutcast. A Radio Podcast with a Twist.

As a radio advertising agency, we at Shout know our podcast could be some intra-industry, quasi-educational screed about the benefits of radio, or examples of the great new campaigns we just completed. We quickly decided that that wouldn't exactly be an ear-bud full of fun for anyone involved.

Instead, we thought we’d make something purely for entertainment. Sometimes, we use our backroom recording “lab” for workshopping ideas and improvisational sketches. Sometimes these ad-lib performances lead to actual radio spots, but mostly they’re just for fun. Every few weeks, we’ll grab two or three Widgets and mash them together with a bit of music and send them into podcast land. You can subscribe on iTunes, or just listen to Shoutcast, our radio podcast at Shout @ MySpace.

Of course, we hope you'll come to some kind of "if these guys are this good with absolutely nothing to go on, imagine how great they'll be when they have to cram in twelve mandatory copy inclusions, five price-points and a legal disclaimer!" conclusion, but that is up to you. Mostly, we just hope you enjoy the silliness.
